May You Be At Peace
We Miss You

We lost this wonderful lady to an accident. She will be sadly missed by friends and family. She was my daughterinlaws's Mom. Sandy was a wonderful mother as well a fantastic grandma. Much better than I am and I felt I needed to make this page to let everyone know how much she was cared about, and tell her story.
Sandy was lost because of an accidnent on Interstate 40 in Knoxville Tn. Her daughter,my daugherinlaw had started hemmoring at my mother's home.. she was 8 months pregnant and had to be rushed to the hospital via ambulance. When Sandy was finally alerted to the situation, she had to find someone to keep her other children so she could go and her sister in law showed up to take her to the hospital. With being scared about her daughter and new grandson's health, she got in the SUV without putting on her seatbelt.. I guess she was just too stressed in worrying about Jessica and the baby. Here is the story as it was printed in the local newpaper.. they didn't put her name in there pending notification of next of kin.. Jessica is doing well, she knows her Mom is now with the only man she ever loved... David, who was lost to cancer, close to 2 years ago, which if comforting to all of us.. as we know this is true.
Passenger dies after SUV flips on Interstate 40
A passenger in a sport utility vehicle was ejected and killed about
12:50 p.m. Wednesday when the vehicle flipped on Interstate 40 near
Rutledge Pike.
The victim's identity was not immediately available.
Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk said the victim was in the back seat of a 1998 Ford Explorer driven by Cheryl Taylor, 40, of Mascot.
According to witnesses and investigating officers, it appears the crash occurred as Taylor was moving from the center lane to the inside lane. She noticed another vehicle and tried to quickly return to the center lane.Taylor and a front-seat passenger, Dustin Taylor, 19, were injured but
were not ejected because they wore seat belts, DeBusk said.
The passenger who was fatally injured was sitting behind them and was not wearing a seat belt, DeBusk said.
