My Family Tree (The Solomon Dynasty)

*Asefa Bekele, our dad, grand, great grand and great great grad father were migrated from Gondar (Northern region of Ethiopia) to Menze (Northern Shewa
region)
*The 226th Negus (Emperor) of Ethiopia was a direct descendant of the marriage of Solomon, the King of Israel, to the queen of Sheba. The Amharic people also said to be descended from Moses and Midian Wife Zipporah.
*Emperor Haile Selassie received his Monarchial line from his grand mother, Princess, Tenagneworke Sahileselasse. Princess Tenagneworke was King Menelik’s Aunt (which is the Menilik mother sister.
*Queen of Sheba now Yemen or Ethiopia. Queen of Sheba was an ancient name for Abyssinia, A kingdom on the Red Sea in the vicinity of modern Ethiopia and Yemen. The Queen of Sheba is the best known for a story in the Bibles Book of King: at the head of caravan of riches, she visited Israel’s King Solomon to test his legendary wisdom. After Solomon successfully answers her riddles, the queen showers him with gifts. According to Ethiopian tradition the queen returned to Sheba and bore a son by Solomon, Menelik I, who was the beginning of the Ethiopian royal dyna.

Ras Luel Seged Atnafseged was a prominent Shewan nobleman and, a parent of
ten children listed below:-
1. Dejazmach Wube (There is a place called Dejach Wube sefer in Addis Ababa).
Dejazmach Wube had one son, by the name of Biteweded
Mengesha (may be Mengesha Seyum?)
2. Fitawrari Desta (may be called Ras Desta Damtew?), Fitawrari Desta had one Son
and Daughter by the name of:-

2a. Tsehayewerke and,
2b. Colonel Asefa
2a.Tsehayewerke. Tsehayewerke had born three Sons:-
I. Ato Fiseha Tegegne ( Alive)
II. General Samson (Died)
III. Fiseha(Father unknown)
3. Likemekuwas Abebe. Likemekuwas Abebe, had one son, by the name of:-

3a. General Abiye Abebe
4. Bekele. Bekele had one son, by the name of:

4a. Asefa (Died in illness on May 7/2006) Asefa married to Ehitunesh Gizaw and
have ten children and 18 grand children of the same Marriage and 2
doughters and 3 grand children of others.
5. Weyzero Askalech
6. Fitawrari Haile. Fitawrari Haile had two daughters, by the name of:
6a. Weyzro Azengi and

6b. Weyzero Enani (live in Addis Ababa, close to Hailekhirstose house)
7. Fitawrari Zewude. Fitawrari Zewude had one daughter, by the name of:-

7a. Weyzero Ameleworke
8. Weyzero Tiruwerke
9. Fitawrari Tadesse. Fitawrari Tadesse had two daughters, by the name of:-
9a. Weyzero Tewabech and Weyzero Kelemua
10. Ato Alemayehu.
