This research group aims to establish the relationship between the structure-properties of novel liquid crystalline materials. Current interests are:
Dielectric investigation of liquid crystals (both dynamic and static). Connections between the macroscopic behavior of materials and their molecular structure. Guest-host interactions in nematic liquid crystals. Aggregation properties of non-liquid crystalline materials in anisotropic solvents. Electro-optical properies of materials in particular systems (both dynamic and static).
